Since its foundation in 1945, the London Children’s Flower Society has given young school children, usually in primary schools but also in nursery and special needs schools, the opportunity to take an interest in horticulture. This activity enhances the national curriculum and research has shown that gardening has a huge range of benefits and can give children of all capabilities, a healthy and enjoyable life skill.
